AYNSLEY HITCHCOCK CRAIG

INTRODUCING AYNSLEY HITCHCOCK CRAIG - ANZAMD SD

●  Diploma in Performing Arts - Bartuccios Performing Arts School Melbourne, Australia

Aynsley started her passion for dancing/performing at the young age of 3 where she began training with the Deborah Hale School of Dance. She later also trained under the Kate Haines De Vere Academy of Dance and then Graduated with a Diploma in Performing Arts from Bartuccios Performing Arts School, Melbourne Australia in 2000.

She is extremely successful and respected in the New Zealand Tap/Jazz Competion Circuit, winning numerous Scholarships and Awards including Most Outstanding Performer and Most Versatile Performer.

In a career that spands over 20 + years, both here and overseas, Aynsley has trained at many studios, including New Zealand School of Dance, Brent Street (Sydney), Edge Performing Arts (Los Angeles) and Pineapple Studios (London). Aynsley has been involved in numerous Musical Theatre Shows including Wellington Musical Theatres

Productions of - 42nd Street - Principal Role (Phyllis Dale and Dance Captain), West End to Broadway, The Sound of Music.

She has also performed in numerous corporate floorshows, fashion shows, product launches and music videos, and has been a featured dancer in many television appearances including the channel 7 Good Friday appeal Australia. In past years a Professional Cheerleader for Carlton Blues AFL Team in Melbourne, as well as the Hurricanes and Wellington Lions.

A highlight was also representing New Zealand at the World Aerobic Championships.

Aynsley is extremely passionate about the performing arts and excited to be teaching at Dapa, passing on her knowledge and experience to the next generation of performers, including her own 3 children.
